My husband and I went here based on reviews when searching for local places to eat. Lincoln was our cook and he was awesome! The food was fantastic and high quality. Great service and a friendly manager. Definitely a five star place. Would highly recommend. Thank you Little Tokyo! And thanks to Lincoln for a great experience.

I loved this place and yes (loved) is past tense. Me and my boyfriend go here every ONCE in awhile we sat at a full table and even brought a friend along. My boyfriend is a hibachi connoisseur, so he requested Lincoln who is the head chef. The table was all laughing and having a good time until the check came. My party was a party of three and a gratuity was added to our bill (we all paid separate by the way, so that’s three different gratuities, from three different people). I called the waitress over and asked if everyone at the table had gratuity included and the waitress came out of her mouth and said the manager said to add gratuity to just me and my party. Our drinks plus the people we shared the table with drinks went unfilled for the longest and everybody at the table either had tea or water. I spoke to the manager and she gave me this whole spill about server wages and how they have to tip the cooks and I do understand that and under normal circumstances, I would have left one. I usually pay with my card and leave tips in cash. It would have been different if the waitress explained why it was added but she just snuck it in there like people don’t read their bills. I just felt like the whole thing was shady, needless to say we will not be back at this establishment. I don’t have an issue with the server or the cooks. Lincoln the chef was awesome! My issue lies with the conniving manager who instructed the waitress to add the gratuity and left her to explain it. The waitress was only doing her job and what she was told.

Fantastic locally owned and operated restaurant featuring hibachi-style cooking, as well as some of the best sushi to be found in Myrtle Beach. Food items are also served in the bar area for quick meals if you want something quick and light. The sampler basket is a great value and gives you a good flavor of the items they have to offer. Be sure to come in early for happy hour - the bartender is VERY good!

Took the family here for my wife's birthday. We had our own Hibachi table and chef; a very personal experience. They could have grouped us with others but they gave everyone their own tables. Chef Darny was very entertaining and the food was excellent!

I had the Beautiful and Manhattan rolls!! They were delicious!! The Manhattan roll was my absolute favorite!! The torch added a special taste to the roll!! I ordered the lunch special where I was able to order two specialty rolls with a salad. The food was affordable, service was outstanding, and the chef was amazing!! My server was exceptional!! She was sweet, proactive, and knowledgeable of food items!! Go check out Mariah!! I will definitely come back! I love great first-time experiences!
